For more than half a century, Anda-Olsen has been developing unique expertise in power supply units designed for challenging conditions. Our products are incorporated into different applications in several markets.
Expanding into new markets
It all started with the maritime environment, in which we are deeply anchored. After countless hours crawling through narrow ship corridors, bumping our heads into pipes and facing one challenge after the other, we have developed our own products to meet the unique demands of the market. Today, Anda-Olsen provides uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) for parties in the maritime sector across the world.
Eventually, we found that the products we deliver and develop could also be used in other markets. Along with third-party solutions, Anda-Olsen covers a need for uninterruptible power supplies in markets such as the aquaculture industry, public sector, hospitals, companies in power and distribution, roads and tunnels. Additionally, our solutions are resold by a number of electrical installers.
All the products and battery solutions we deliver can be monitored using Anda Cloud. This monitoring system allows you to be even more certain that the equipment is functioning as intended and that it remains operational in the event of a power outage.
Anda-Olsen - a company in growth
The history of Anda-Olsen dates all the way back to 1959, when we were a trading company that sold batteries and lighting products under the name Handelsfirma Birger Anda. In 1982, the name was changed to Anda-Olsen AS. The company was a family-run business until 2018, when external management was included.
In 2021, Anda-Olsen issued and sold shares, gaining new co-owners and fresh capital. We have ambitions for strong growth over the next few years, both nationally and internationally, particularly for our own products such as Anda Power Solutions (APS).
